Two hours spent at MOA.
Nothing but the desire for change.
Change clothes.
Change style.

This artist is very inspiring to me.
Although his drawings are realistic, his images are imaginary, making his style unique and endlessly interesting.

rainy day movies

Things needed to make these days perfect:

a good movie; a movie that I've seen more than four times.
tea and/or coffee.
pillows.
something to do with my hands-pencil and paper, crochet.
someone that will go on a walk when it is raining the heaviest.

List of movies:
Annie Hall

When Harry Met Sally

Garden State

...well, maybe there are more...but not now.

Simon and Garfunkel.
America.
The melody never leaves my head, but the words are always lost.

Problem solved.
/////////////////////

"Let us be lovers we'll marry our fortunes together"
"I've got some real estate here in my bag"
So we bought a pack of cigarettes and Mrs. Wagner pies
And we walked off to look for America

"Kathy," I said as we boarded a Greyhound in Pittsburgh
"Michigan seems like a dream to me now"
It took me four days to hitchhike from Saginaw
I've gone to look for America

Laughing on the bus
Playing games with the faces
She said the man in the gabardine suit was a spy
I said "Be careful his bow tie is really a camera"

"Toss me a cigarette, I think there's one in my raincoat"
"We smoked the last one an hour ago"
So I looked at the scenery, she read her magazine
And the moon rose over an open field

"Kathy, I'm lost," I said, though I knew she was sleeping
I'm empty and aching and I don't know why
Counting the cars on the New Jersey Turnpike
They've all gone to look for America
All gone to look for America
All gone to look for America

Something about this song makes me miss a time I've never experience.

why am i still up? why are you?

intriguing.

Until the end, this poem really fit how I've been feeling.

Maybe it is because it is the end of the school year soon and the pressure is on,
or that school will be over forever and I can't imagine what comes next.

Either way, I'm negative.

But I think I am in love,
so that is not the problem.

Either way, a poem read off of another blog but found very applicable to life now.

"I do not like my state of mind;
I'm bitter, querulous, unkind.
I hate my legs, I hate my hands,
I do not yearn for lovelier lands.
I dread the dawn's recurrent light;
I hate to go to bed at night.
I snoot at simple, earnest folk.
I cannot take the simplest joke.
I find no peace in paint or type.
My world is but a lot of tripe.
I'm disillusioned, empty-breasted.
For what I think, I'd be arrested.
I am not sick. I am not well.
My quondam dreams are shot to hell.
My soul is crushed, my spirit sore:
I do not like me any more.
I cavil, quarrel, grumble, grouse.
I ponder on the narrow house.
I shudder at the thought of men.
I'm due to fall in love again."

What a feeling.
A yearning for the past to be the present and future.

Posting past pictures to fix this.
